UPDATED POST
Sadly this cat was in such a bad way he had to be put to sleep today at the vets. He was very anemic, had a bad case of jaundice (all whites of eyes yellow and gums and inner ears yellow) and had a large mass in his intestine. He was severely malnourished and you could feel every bone in his body. He was very dehydrated and was drinking large amounts of water as well as shovelling loads of food in without even chewing it. But he had very runny diarrhoea which was DorrisWedding yellow color wear for prom ... just coming away from him. All in all the vet said he maybe only had weeks to live if we had tried to treat him and most certainly would have been dead in a few days if we had not picked him up.
His teeth were badly in need of a dental and his breath stunk. Despite all this he was such a loving cat and I think he knew people were trying to help him. He was given cuddles right up to the end.

Neutered male tabby
Found river streets, Chopwell
In a very bad way.
Judging by his teeth he is an elderly cat.
Not chipped and has been wearing a paper collar for over a month.
Posting in hope his owner can be found.
