As you may or may not know this is what we battle everyday with Patrick's kids. Reactive Attachment Disorder or RAD is awful, horrible and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. We have both suffered extreme judgement and I have even lost family relationships over some of my family's judgement and ignorance to this disorder. I don't normally put "the bad" out here on Facebook but this disorder is real and something that affects us everyday. We have dealt with everything from s ... tealing, consistent lying, manipulation (a level that I haven't even seen from adults) to self mutilation, purposeful urination on self and months of defiance no one would think possible. Unfortunately, his children were not only passed down genetic problems from their bio mom (both share bio mom but have different bio dads) but she also created this attachment disorder at birth.......Patrick has been and is an amazing father and had nothing to do with the issues we are dealing with. We don't want sympathy just understanding........Please be patient and understanding before judging how people parent. Please take a moment and realize that things aren't always how they seem, there are a lot of really good loving parents out there being critiqued and judged unfairly. .......RAD sucks, I hate it. modest designed wedding garment in vintage style
