The Satilla Regional Family Practice Residency Program was established in 1998 and is affiliated with the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.

Our rural track residency program is based at Satilla Regional Medical Center in Waycross, Georgia, where two medical residents are selected for the program annually. PGY-1 occurs at MCG, a university-based hospital, and years 2 and 3 are completed in Waycross. In-patient training takes place at SRMC where more than 100 physicians, representing all the major medical specialties, serve on the Medical Staff.
